COSHH regulations require employers to limit and control exposure to hazardous substances to protect employees from illnesses such as cancer, dermatitis, and lung diseases like asthma. Thousands of people fall ill every year from working with hazardous substances across all industries, from agriculture to cleaning. This talk aims to provide participants with an awareness of the various substances which are hazardous to health and how to safely and effectively work with them.
COSHH regulations require employers to limit exposure to hazardous substances. Illnesses from exposure can include cancer, and skin and lung diseases.
The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) course is suitable for anyone who works with or comes into contact with substances or materials that are hazardous to health. Hazardous substances and materials can include chemicals, dust, vapours, fumes, mists, gases, microorganisms and biological agents such as germs.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
Upon successful completion of the this course participants will understand;

The qualification is valid for three years
